ADAS Windshield Camera Calibration Dallas
Your vehicle's safety systems depend on a precisely calibrated forward-facing camera. After any windshield replacement, ADAS recalibration is required — not optional.
Why ADAS Calibration
Matters
Modern vehicles rely on a forward-facing camera mounted to the windshield to power critical safety features. When the windshield is replaced, even a fraction-of-a-degree misalignment can cause these systems to misjudge distances, lane positions, and braking thresholds.
Proper calibration restores the camera to the manufacturer's exact specifications, ensuring every safety system functions as designed. We perform ADAS calibration in Dallas and throughout DFW on-site using OEM-approved equipment and procedures.
Schedule CalibrationDon't Risk It
An off-by-one-degree camera angle can delay automatic emergency braking by 40+ feet at highway speeds. Always calibrate after replacement.
All Major ADAS Features
We calibrate all forward-camera-based safety systems across all major makes and models.
Forward Collision Warning

Calibration Questions Answered
- When is ADAS calibration required?
- ADAS calibration is required any time the windshield is replaced, after a front-end collision, if the camera is disconnected, or if the vehicle displays ADAS-related warning lights. Every manufacturer requires recalibration after windshield replacement.
- What is the difference between static and dynamic calibration?
- Static calibration uses a precision target board in a controlled environment to realign the camera. Dynamic calibration requires driving at a set speed on well-marked roads. Some vehicles need both. We determine the correct method for your specific make and model.
- How long does calibration take?
- Static calibration typically takes 30–60 minutes. Dynamic calibration requires a short test drive of 15–20 minutes. If both are needed, expect about 60–90 minutes total.
- Is ADAS calibration covered by insurance?
- Yes — when calibration is required as part of a windshield replacement, it is typically covered under the same comprehensive glass claim. We include calibration in our insurance billing when applicable.
