The BMW 5 Series executive sedan has a strong following among DFW business professionals. The 2017 seventh generation introduced standard Driving Assistant safety technology. The PHEV 530e and performance M5 models use the same windshield as the standard 530i.

HUD (heads-up display) is available on xLine and M Sport builds — HUD-compatible OEM glass is required.
The 5 Series Gran Turismo and 5 Series Touring (wagon) have different windshields from the standard sedan.
